Im on my vacation in New York and headed to Jersey watching World Cup game. I stayed on Staten Island, and that’s how I find out this hidden gem of restaurant! I had no clue what to order at first, but the waitress r really nice and friendly ,she recommended their pork chop, saying it’s their top seller dish. I went for fried rice instead, and it tasted unlike any Asian food I’ve had before ,it’s super fragrant and flavorful. The pork chop was tender, seasoned and very very juicy. I also ordered a bowl of pho soup, and the broth was absolutely amazing, we finished every last drop of it. They also suggested Vietnamese spring rolls, but I was too worn out to try them that day. I’m already planning to come back before I leave New York City just to get those spring rolls and another pork chop rice dishes.

Their pho soup totally surprised me! I don’t usually get soup in hot weather, but I’m so glad I tried it. Growing up with home cooked soups, I really appreciate how rich and well made their broth is!!!! And I got a chicken banh mi for my lunch tmrw , really looking forward to it.

I had the #1 and the #18, the house special and the Vietnamese spring rolls. The portions are good, the spring rolls are fried to perfection and the broth is really nice! The atmosphere was really nice and peaceful, the service was really nice too! If you are in the neighborhood 100% check it out!

It’s in the name and all, but you must order the pho if you dine here! The broth is so rich and the noodles are so hearty. It’s unfortunate that we only dine here when we feel under the weather but that’s also a mark of just how comforting the food here really isβ€”better than medicine! We felt better immediately as we sipped a spoonful of their both! Servers were also so nice and made sure everything was to our liking. It’s just around the corner from some of the more busy neighborhoods so it’ll almost never be an issue getting a table. One of Staten Island’s hidden gems!

This is a true gem πŸ’Ž of Staten Island eateries. Located directly adjacent to the New Dorp SIRT train station, Pho Rainbow is a flawless masterpiece. The service is the best on the Island. If you are a regular be prepared to be pampered every visit including free, delicious concoctions as well as staff hidden specialties. You feel like you’re among family every time. Rachel is an incredible human being. The Pho offerings are plentiful and can easily be customized to your specifications. The broths are nothing short of therapeutic even on the unlikeliest of sweltering summer days. Any pork dish is as masterful as flavorful. The Banh Mi sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had. The appetizer selections are amazing and prepared to perfection every time without fail. The homemade beverages such as Rainbow Ice with Coconut Milk and Lemon Iced Tea are better than any bottled drinks on the market. In closing not enough can possibly be said or expressed as to how incredible this restaurant is or how lucky we are to have this culinary delight in the heart of New Dorp. This is by far one of the best our Island has ever had to offer in my 47 years as a native. Flawless.
